August 2017: Wrap-Up and Favourites

Happy Sunday everyone! September has begun and the last month of summer has faded away. It’s time for my August favourites 🙂

Sheet masks
As you might remember, I’m reading up on Korean beauty at the moment. Can you imagine how excited I was when I found Garnier’s new “Moisture Bomb” sheet masks at my local drug store? Sheet masks are an important part of the famous Korean 10-step beauty routine. I’ve tried 2 of them so far and I have to say that I’m quite impressed with the results. I’ll write a complete review as soon as I can!

Zoella “Wonderhand” Moisturising Hand Cream
I finally got my hands on some Zoella Beauty products and I’m really impressed with this hand cream. The smell is soft and sweet and it leaves your hands silky smooth!

Essie „Without a Stitch“
I’ve been loving this light grey colour recently, it’s the perfect end-of-summer / beginning-of-autumn shade. “Without a stitch” is part of essie’s “The Wild Nudes 2017” collection, which features 9 neutral shades inspired by nature. The formula is very smooth and lasts for about a week if you apply base coat, two coats of nail polish and top coat.

Ray Ban sunglasses
I bought these sunglasses right before our holiday, I think they’re called “round double bridge”. They fit almost every outfit and the amber lenses are perfect for any kind of weather.

Purelei hairties / bracelets
I’m sure you’ve already seen them on Pinterest or Instagram – Purelei hairties are just everywhere at the moment! I bought mine at a local shop. They have a whole range of beautiful designs and you can wear them both as a hairtie or as a bracelet!

Planner 2017 / 2018
I’ve been looking forward to starting my new planner since I bought in May! It started on August 1 and I kept it on my desk ever since.

Bates Motel
Bates Motel is a Netflix series telling the story of Norma Bates and her son Norman, who start a new life after the death of Norman’s father by purchasing a motel in a small Oregon town. Consisting of 5 seasons with 10 episodes each, the prequel to Hitchcock’s “Psycho” depicts how Norman’s mental health slowly declines and spirals out of control. It watched the whole series in about two weeks, it’s so addicting! If you like slightly creepy psychological thrillers, Bates Motel is the show for you!

Although it’s still quite warm at the moment, autumn is slowly creeping in. Are you already looking forward to sweater weather and pumpkin spice lattes? I surely am!

See you soon!

Woow! You are pretty organised person. Getting a planner in May and waiting till August to use it 🙂 I wish I could be more organised and stop leaving things for the last moment. I am obsessed with notebooks, calendars and any stationery and the planner looks lovely.
